SMO Students Compete at National Science Fair in Saskatchewan
Last week Emmett and Gavin, from Ms. Davidson's Class competed at the Canada Wide Science Fair in Regina, Saskatchewan.
They were 2 of 7 students representing all of Simcoe County at the 7 day, national event. They presented their project titled "Free Throw Physics" which analyzed the science behind various basketball free-throw methods. There were approximately 350 judges and over 450 other students from across Canada, Mexico and Turkey. Gavin and Emmett toured the province, had many adventures and made friends from coast, to coast, to coast.
Congratulations on such a high achievement. You have both made St. Monica’s proud!
